Welcome to Boston University Academy's Community Service Site.

This website is in progress, with the 2009-2010 school year being the rollout year for basic functionality. Most of the completed functions are located under the student login link.

The ultimate goal of the site is to help streamline the community service process for our students, parents, advisors and administrators. Initial functionality includes a password protected area for students to submit proposals, log hours, get supervisor evaluations and submit reflections. The public area currently only has a page of helpful links, however, after data has been gathered for the first year, it will also include a monthly calendar of events, a page of recommended organizations with which past BUA students have worked, and a password protected page where parents, advisors and administrators can log in to track their students' progress.

As the site is in the testing and future design stage, and we are open to suggestions on how best to improve. Please get in touch with the community service advisor (service@buacademy.org) with any suggestions you have (improvements on existing content, suggestions for future functionality, etc).
